Person who I admire

I admire Lee Kuan Yew because he was the person that led Singapore to become what it is today. If not for him, Singapore would just be another Malaysia. He is a good leader as he managed to lead the entire nation and his party to build up present Singapore. He was one of the most influential figures in Asia.

Reflection for camp

What are the 3 main points that you had learnt from all the activities.
Teamwork, punctuality and to participate more.
How can all these pointers be of help to you?
Having good team work will make make communicating easier which would make projects easier.
Being punctual can help activities be on time and allow us more time for doing that activity.
Participating more make me not lose out in activities.
If you were to have another chance to try all the activities, which one will choose? Why?
I will choose the flying fox. Because it is very fun.
If there is one thing you would like to change about yourself, what would that be?
I would like to be more active in activities.

Reflection for Amazing Race

We had the amazing race today. We went to explore some places of the Clementi.
  • What do you understand about the school value "Expanding Our Learning Networks"?
  • I think that it means that we expand our learning from in the class to other places. That way, we can learn much more things from places outside our classroom.
  • Why is this value important and how will it help you in your learning experience in SST?

Personal reflection for Bridge Building activity

  • How do you feel about working in a team on the bridge building project?
  • I think that it is a great way for us to get to know more about one another.
  • What do you think about your interactions with the members in your team?
  • I think that it can be better
  • What have you learnt about yourself in the course of the activity and what would you have done differently in future group activities?
  • I learnt that I am not very participative and I would work harder to participate more.
  • Did you experience any fear(s), discomfort(s) and apprehension(s) working with this team? Why?
  • Yes. I am not used to working with people that I did not know and feel shy around these people.
  • How do you overcome them?
  • I did not think about it too much and it did not come up very often.

Experience in creating this blog

I had no problems with this blog as I had a blog some time ago. I think that a blog is useful as we can go to our classmates' blog and share ideas or learn things that they have found out from their class.
I was Happy and excited when I recieved the letter that confirms my posting to SST. Like the crocodile in the picture, I felt like jumping up high.
